This was a luxurious weekend in a fabulous inn. The Canadian wine country was an amazing background to this relaxing, romantic inn. The staff, breakfast, and beautifully designed inn all account for a perfect weekend.
The service was charming, rooms luxurious and the daily breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the small size and warm welcome which made the experience very special.
There were bicycles available to rent, but given the price of accommodation and the fact that no one was using the bikes, we thought they should have been free for hotel guests. Also the rooms would have been even more comfortablewith better furniture placement and an extra chair.
The complimentary wine and cheese reception which is held daily was a very nice touch as was the breakfast the next morning. Our hotel room was beautiful - serene and relaxing and I loved the juliet balcony.
It was a bit expensive
we were made so welcome and the staff made themselves available for our beneift without being obtrusive .The room had everything you would need for a luxury stay
We love the rooms....the beds are extremely comfortable and love the extras...real glasses, nice products, excellent breakfast.
Can't think of anything I didn't like....
I loved the staff that we came in contact with;they were extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable and non- stressful time. The bed was ultracomfortable. Although the breakfast menu had variety, I would have liked to have seen more hot foods to choose from. I would highly recommend it to anyone I know.
The air conditioning was set too low in the room and public areas, and it was difficult adjusting the temp. in my room.
We loved the exceptional room. The decor is spectacular and warm. Gorgeous linens make it difficult to leave the bed! A wonderful European breakfast, wine tasting in the afternoon and cookies before bed what else could you ask for?
Staff exceptionally friendly and room very quiet, nice bathroom
the colours in the room were not particularly relaxing
Friendly and helpful staff. Very good continential breakfast comparable to high end europe. Wine at reception was good, not great Location (10 minute walk from town center) and free parking Shuttle service to restaurants Room was 4 star with whirlpool tub and gas fireplace
Would be nice to have mini fridge.
We enjoyed everything about our stay here. The staff is very welcoming, and the common areas are beautiful. The nautical theme of the decorating is attractive throughout the hotel - our room was spacious, especially the bathroom. Nice touches in the room like homemade cookies when we arrived. The buffet breakfast in the morning was great too. One of the things we liked best was the size of the hotel - only 31 rooms. The location is good - very close to The Shaw Theatre, recreation trails, etc. We would highly recommend this hotel, and will definitely stay here on our next visit.
A stylish boutique hotel - perfectly located to take in the many and varied activities of the Niagara region - within easy walking distance of local shops and restaurants. A very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere and delightful staff. Very impressed by the selection, quality and variety of choices on offer at breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to friends and family.
Very comfortable room - lots of nice touches like fireplace (although it was too summery for a fireplace it would be lovely in the fall/winter), whirlpool, coffee maker, fantastic bedding.
Carpets could use cleaning/replacement - quite stained in our room, but everything else more than compensated.
It was everything that I hoped for. Great location, beautiful and comfortable rooms, water view and delicious breakfast. Would love to stay here again.
There was no coffee/ tea available in the evening but when we asked the hotel staff, they prepared tea for us.
Room was very spacious and comfortable. Quiet location affording ability to relax. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
There was no bar or restaurant in the hotel, no leisure facilities. Breakfast was a little disappointing with no hot items available. For the prices being charged I felt that the options available were limited.
First class helpful staff. Excellent accommodation - we had a premium king room. Though we knew what we had booked we longed for a pool - temperature 95 degrees during our visit!
